YOUR DONATION
WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Despite these in-kind and cash contribut-ions, we still have to meet expenses that are often substantial, particularly when dedic-ation ceremonies are undertaken in country areas.
Technology and low overheads
We are an all-volunteer association, so we do not have salaries as an overhead. We also put modern technology to good use and do not have premises; instead we have a "virtual office" online.
Everything's spent on operations
Two sources of funding have been crucial in helping us to quickly translate our ideas into action:
-
three years of seed funding from the Premier, the Hon. Steven Marshall, at $10,000 a year from 2018 to 2021;
-
subsidising of the cost of bronze plaques, up to $450 each, from a two-year pilot
program of the federal Department of Veterans' Affairs.
How you can contribute
The Headstone Project South Australia Incorporated (ABN 94 156 501 044) is a not-for-profit association incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985.
We would like to tell you why and how your contribution will be well spent.
Our VIP sponsors and supporters
If you would like to make a contribution, large or small, in-kind or monetary, we would be delighted to hear from you. We don't have credit card facilities (it's part our low-cost model) but we can accept cheques (to PO Box 415, Modbury North SA 5092) and EFTs. Our bank details are:
-
ANZ
-
BSB: 015300
-
Account: 228684883
-
Acc name: The Headstone Project
For the EFT reference, please put your tele-phone number (no spaces) followed by as much of your surname as will fit.

We can therefore guarantee that all cash donations are spent directly on our operational activities. That may involve some administrative expenses — for example, stationery, postage, petty cash expenses (receipted) but they are a minuscule portion of our total costs.

We're very fortunate to be supported by generous sponsors who make a huge difference. They provide us with most of
the materials we need to construct our headstones, greatly reducing our costs.
Other people and organisations give valuable support to our work.
